If you identify as Black/African American, are age 18 or older, and are currently in a serious romantic relationship (at least 6+ months together), then you can participate in one or both aspects of the study!
For this aspect of the study, you and your romantic partner can participate in a 1-1.5 hour audio- and video-recorded Zoom conversation with a researcher. Compensation is $60/person ($120/couple). During the interview, you will be asked questions about your experiences and perceptions of racial stress, romantic relationship functioning, and emotional/psychological well-being. Interviews can also be conducted in person if you prefer and live in the Auburn, AL area.
